Lodge Facilities

Abba has self catering chalets, 2, 4, 6, and 8 bed units, all fully equipped with bedding, cutlery, crockery, braai utensils, all you need.  We Do NOT provide towels, please bring your own.

There are beautiful caravan and camp sites, each equipped with an electric plug point.  A clean communal ablution and scullery is well situated, with hot and cold water.

Facilities also include a conference centre, resort shop, bar, restaurant, game farm, dam, hot, cold and kiddie's pool, walking trail, game drives and many other activities and facilities for your pleasure.

Water Sports

Please help yourself to the boats on the dam.


Fishing is allowed and include; Carp, Black Bass and a few other species.
Please observe our Catch and Release Policy.

Volley Ball Court

The court has a river sand base and is complete with regulation net.

Game Drives

Game Drives depart from outside the Reception for approximately a 2 hour drive (No private vehicles are allowed within the game reserve area due to the rugged terrane).

Pool Tables

Pool tables are situated in the Warthog's Den.  Open daily from 10h00. No persons under the age of 16yrs are allowed to play.

It is also the dining room and bar, no persons under the age of 18yrs are allowed to sit at the bar.
There is also DSTV available for the pleasure of our guests.

Putt-Putt Course

Good fun for the children, come to think of it, maybe the parents will also enjoy the challenge.

Nyala Walking Trial

The trail can be walked anytime of the day, on your own time.  Don't forget your camera! and a walking stick might help in negotiating the rugged areas.

Outdoor Chess

There is an Outdoor Chess Board with benches at each side for the players to observe their next move.

Saturday Bring and Braai

Join us from 18h00 on a Saturday evening for a bring and Braai.  We provide the pap, gravy, fire and utensils.
Cost is R40.00 per person.
All you need to bring is your own meat.
Please book at Reception before 16h00 on Saturday.
